From my early youth, I took a delight in the many impressive pieces the digital piano in my family home could play for me. Hearing such a range of music emerge from the instrument sparked a curiosity that would grow into a lifelong relationship with the piano.

Since beginning my musical journey, I have been fortunate to explore many different aspects of piano playing, from solo performance to collaboration with other musicians. Through these experiences, I have developed an understanding of music as a form of communication: one built upon listening, responsiveness, and connection.

I studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, where I continued to develop as a pianist and performer, deepening my understanding of both solo and collaborative music-making. Alongside my individual playing, I have enjoyed performing in ensembles - most notably with the Cassiopeia Piano Quintet - and working as an accompanist for choirs, singers, and instrumentalists.

Alongside performing, I have also developed a passion for teaching and for helping others discover their own relationship with music. Through my teaching at Cardiff Music School, I have supported musicians at different stages of their musical journeys.

My study of the Alexander Technique has also influenced my approach to music and teaching, shaping the way I think about learning, coordination, and performance. This perspective continues to inform my approach, encouraging exploration, curiosity, and greater freedom in musical expression.

Through teaching, performance, and collaboration, I aim to share my passion for music and create opportunities for others to engage with music in meaningful and rewarding ways.
